Tatyana Hill Tabbed as American Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week

Houston Cougars freshman forward Tatyana Hill closed out the third week of conference action averaging a team-high 12.5 points and 4 rebounds, earning American Athletic Conference (AAC) Rookie of the Week honors.

Hill went 4-of-6 from the field, finishing with eight points and four rebounds at Cincinnati. In the Cougars 76-44 win over Tulsa, Hill was one of three Cougars to post a double-digit scoring effort leading all scorers with 17 points and four rebounds. The freshman made it count at the line, connecting on a career-high five free throws.

The award is the first of Hill's career and the first for Houston this season.
