Coogs announce schedule change


Houston vs Texas A&M moved to December 6 and will air on ESPN2

The Houston Cougar Women's Basketball team's Fertitta Center opener against Texas A&M has been moved to Thursday, December 6, to accommodate TV.

The contest against the Aggies, which was originally scheduled for Wednesday, December 5, will now kick off the Fertitta Center era in front of the home fans at 6 p.m. (Central Time), with the game airing on ESPN2.

The 2017-18 season begins with a road contest at Cal on Tuesday, November 6, while the home opener is slated for November 9, against Georgia Tech inside H&PE Arena. Houston will play three home games on the campus of nearby Texas Southern, before moving into their permanent home at the beginning of December.
