Texas A&M women's basketball completed its 2018-19 schedule with the release of its 13-game non-conference schedule Tuesday. The non-conference slate includes eight games against teams that reached the 2018 postseason, highlighted by Elite Eight participant Oregon State.

"The schedule is tough, as it always is at Texas A&M," head coach Gary Blair said. "We're going to load up on quality opponents. The kids are excited for a chance to play Power 5 teams like Syracuse, Oregon State and Southern California, plus a lot of our traditional regional opponents in the non-conference. The schedule also gives us a chance for our kids to experience travel and life on the road against quality opponents before SEC play starts."

Texas A&M opens the season with Rice paying a visit to Reed Arena on November 7 (6 p.m.), the first of eight 20+ win teams on the non-conference schedule. The Aggies are looking for their sixth straight season-opening win and their sixth straight win in a home opener. The season-opening homestand concludes with the program's first meeting with Jacksonville (November 11).

Syracuse, an NCAA National Finalist in 2016, is the first of three 2018 NCAA Tournament teams on the Aggies' non-conference schedule, with a neutral-site contest on November 14 at the Westchester County Center in White Plains, N.Y., home of the WNBA's New York Liberty and the NBA G-League's Westchester Knicks. The Aggies then play at Little Rock, another NCAA Tournament team from 2018, on November 20 (6:30 p.m.).

After hosting Arkansas State (November 23), schoolchildren from across the region are invited to take in the sixth edition of Elementary School Day on November 29 as the Aggies host Lamar at 11 a.m.

The previously announced game at Houston (December 6, 6 p.m.) follows, the first game at the Cougars' renovated Fertitta Center, with a national television broadcast on ESPN2. Texas A&M then hosts Central Arkansas on December 8 (2 p.m.).

Texas A&M takes on Oregon State, who has reached the Sweet 16 in each of the past three seasons, as part of the Maui Jim Maui Classic in Lahaina, Hawai'i on December 15 (11 p.m.). The Aggies tip the two-game tournament against Eastern Washington on December 14 (9 p.m.).

Two-time NCAA Champion Southern California visits Aggieland on December 15, as the teams face off for the third consecutive season. Last season, Chennedy Carter scored the game-winning basket with 10.9 seconds to play, giving the Aggies a 75-74 win in Los Angeles, as she set a school-record with 46 points. Three of the teams' four matchups since 2011 have come down to the final minute, with the Aggies holding a 3-1 edge in those four games.

The Aggies close out the non-conference schedule with home games against Prairie View (December 21, 6:30 p.m.) and UTRGV (December 29), before starting conference play on January 3 against South Carolina.
