Ashlee Austin and India Bellamy commit to Tina Langley and Rice Owls

Ashlee Austin and India Bellamy announced they have chosen to attend Rice University and play basketball for Head Coach Tina Langley. Austin and Bellamy are members of the 2019 high school graduating class.

Bellamy, 6'1", forward, attends Eagle's Landing Christian Academy in Georgia.
Last season, she attended Dutchtown for her junior year. Bellamy averaged 14.7 points and 9.3 rebounds per game for Dutchtown and helped the Lady Bulldogs reach the Class AAAAA Elite Eight. She attended ELCA her freshman and sophomore years.

Austin, 6'0", forward, attends Northview High School in Georgia. Last season, she helped the Titans win the Region 7 - AAAAAA Championship.
Austin's skillset is described as a physical rebounder that can score through contact (via Kyle Sandy of SandySpiel.com) and also an agile, stretch-4 performer with range to the three-point line with good handles (via Dan Olson of HoopGurlz).
Austin and Bellamy join Destiny Jackson and Katelyn Crosthwait as members of the Class of 2019 to commit to Rice.
The Early Signing Period to sign National Letters of Intent is November 14-21, 2018.
