Amanda Johnson named to Preseason All-SLC Team

After a breakout junior season in 2017-18, Amanda Johnson is back for her senior year and has been selected to the Preseason All-Southland Conference Second Team by the league's head coaches for the 2018-19 season.

Johnson joins this list as an automatic selection by being selected to the all-conference team at the end of last season. Johnson led the Huskies last season posting 15.4 points, and 4.1 rebounds a game. Johnson did this while shooting over 43% and averaging over 34 minutes a game.

Johnson and the Huskies look to build on the successes of last season beginning November 11 at home in Sharp Gym with tipoff time at 4:00 p.m.
