The Battleground 2k College Hoops Series Headed to Houston and Birmingham

United Sports & Entertainment (@USportsEnt) will bring high-level college basketball to Houston (TX) and Birmingham (AL) with The Battleground 2k hoops series. The two early-season neutral site events will take place on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at Toyota Center (HOU) and Legacy Arena (BHM), Date-TBD, 2025.

The Battleground 2k24 event slate will present intriguing matchups, headlined by the Houston Cougars (Big 12) taking on the Auburn Tigers (SEC). In the opening contest, the Rice Owls (AAC) will go head-to-head with the Florida State Seminoles (ACC).

The following season, The Battleground 2k25 will be headlined by the Houston versus match-up, while the opening contest will be announced at a later date.

The charitable component for The Battleground 2k hoops series will be rooted in service, inspiring the participating student-athletes to use their talent, notoriety and influence to affect the lives of kids in the local community. The Battleground 2k basketball platform will greatly impact the Houston and Birmingham communities and will also be a rewarding experience for the student-athletes and universities.

Pre-sale tickets for The Battleground 2k24 will be available to the participating schools this Thursday, August 22, at 10:00 AM CST, while public on-sale is set for Friday, August 23, at 10:00 AM CST. Tickets can be purchased online at ToyotaCenter.com or at the Toyota Center box office.
