Andrews attended University of South Alabama the last two seasons. This past season, Andrews played in 24 games and started 1 game. He averaged 4.1 points and 1.2 rebounds in 13.2 minutes per game. Andrews shot 37.6 percent from the floor, including 35.4 percent from three, and 54.5 percent from the foul line.
In 2017-'18, Andrews started six times in 30 appearances and averaged 6.2 points per game. He ranked fifth on the team in scoring and third in 3-pointers (38).
Andrews transferred to South Alabama after attending Youngstown State University in 2015-'16. He sat out the 2016-'17 season due to NCAA transfer rules.
Since he is a graduate transfer, Andrews will be immediately eligible at Texas Southern for the 2019-'20 season.
