2019-20 SWAC Men's Basketball Honors Announced
Prairie View A&M picked 1st; Texas Southern picked 2nd; PV's Devonte Patterson Preseason SWAC Player of the Year

Texas Southern was picked to finish in second place, followed by Grambling State, Alabama State and Jackson State to round out the top 5.
Prairie View A&M forward Devonte Patterson was named the 2019-20 SWAC Men's Basketball Preseason Player of the Year, while Jackson State's Jayveous McKinnis was tabbed Preseason Defensive Player of the Year.
