Rockets Re-Sign Aaron Holiday

Posted: July 6, 2024 -- 7:10 p.m. CT

Saturday evening, the Houston Rockets announced they have re-signed guard Aaron Holiday. Holiday, reportedly, signed a two-year, $10-million contract.

Holiday originally signed as a free agent with Houston on July 10, 2023. He appeared in 78 games last season while averaging 14.6 points, 4.0 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 1.2 steals per 36 minutes played. Holiday had the fourth-highest free throw percentage (.921) of any player with at least 60 attempts in 2023-24.

Over the past three seasons, Holiday shot 39.0% from 3-point range. Last season marked his sixth in the NBA. Holiday's older brothers, Justin and Jrue, logged their 11th and 15th seasons with Denver and Boston.
