Mike D'Antoni: "Nothing to report definitely, yet"
Posted: July 19, 2020 -- 7:19 p.m. CT
Sunday morning before practice, Mike D'Antoni gave an update regarding when Russell Westbrook and Luc Mbah a Moute would arrive in Orlando for the NBA Restart.
"Nothing new. It's getting closer," D'Antoni said. "Obviously, it will as every day goes by; but, nothing to report definitively, yet. But, it's progressing."

D'Antoni also discussed how many minutes he would play Westbrook once he was medically cleared to practice and participate in scrimmages and / or games.
"Relying on our medical staff," D'Antoni commented. "They'll determine when Russell is ready to go or when he's ready to play 20 minutes, 30 minutes or whatever. They will monitor his time. I do hear that he's in pretty good shape and has been ramping up so, hopefully, it's fairly seamless. But, with some precaution, obviously."
The Rockets first of 3 scrimmages is Friday, July 24, versus the Toronto Raptors. Tip is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Central Time.
