Houston Rockets General Manager Daryl Morey announced today that the team has signed guard Chris Chiozza (chee-OH-zah) for the remainder of the season. Chiozza was playing for the Capital City Go-Go of the NBA G League and is the 44th GATORADE Call-Up of the season.
Chiozza (6'0", 175) signed a 10-day contract with Houston on February 22 and did not appear in a game for the Rockets but saw action in four games for their G League affiliate, Rio Grande Valley. Following the expiration of his 10-day deal, Chiozza rejoined Capital City.

Chiozza was eligible for the 2018 NBA Draft following his senior season at Florida. He finished his career as the Gators all-time leader in assists (571) and was named SEC All-Defensive Team in his final season.
