Rockets trade Onuaku and cash considerations to Mavs for draft rights to Leunen

The Houston Rockets General Manager Daryl Morey announced today that the team traded center Chinanu Onuaku and cash considerations to Dallas in exchange for the rights to forward Maarty Leunen.

The Mavericks also receive the rights to swap a protected future second round pick with Houston.

The deal opens up an active spot on the Rockets' roster which is expected to be filled by forward Carmelo Anthony once the Rockets finalize (and announce) the Melo signing.
