Houston Rockets announce 2011 preseason schedule

Assuming the NBA owners and the NBPA reach a new collective bargaining agreement soon, the Houston Rockets have announced their 2011 schedule.
The Rockets will tip off the 2011 preseason with a pair of games against the Denver Nuggets on Oct. 10-11, which was announced today by the NBA as part of the 2011 league preseason schedule.
The Rockets host the defending Eastern Conference Champion Miami Heat on Oct. 14 before heading out for a pair of neutral-site outings. Houston again takes on the Heat on October, 15 at SprintCenter in Kansas City, MO, and then travels to Canton, OH, to face the Cleveland Cavaliers at the Canton Memorial Civi Center on October 21.
Houston returns to Toyota Center on October 24, to play the San Antonio Spurs and closes out its seven-game preseason slate against the New Orleans Hornets on Oct. 26 at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi, MS.
