The Houston Roundball Review has learned Taylor and Tyler Gilbert have "re-committed" to the Houston Cougars.

Tyler and Taylor initially made a verbal committment to Coach Buchanan's Cougars in February.

On May 31, news spread that the twin sisters, from Hightower High School in Missouri City, TX, were reconsidering their verbal commitments to attend the University of Houston and play ball for head coach Todd Buchanan.

In May, Chris Johnson, the twins' AAU coach, told HoopGurlz, "The twins feel they owe it to themselves to go through the recruiting process," Johnson said. "They are still very interested in the University of Houston."

After receiving national exposure and enjoying a successful stint on the AAU July Summer circuit, Taylor and Tyler have decided to stick with their initial decision.

"We are sure about our decision this time."

The 6'2" twins attended the Cougars' basketball skills camp today.

Tyler seems to play with more aggression than her sister; but, both are capable shot blockers and rebounders with improving post moves and mid-range jump shots.

Taylor and Tyler are ranked 31st and 32nd, respectively, in the Class of 2012, by Premier Basketball Report in the state of Texas.

The early National Letter of Intent signing period begins November 9th and ends November 16th. The regular signing period starts April 11, 2012.
