The Houston Roundball Review has learned Leah Foster will be hired as a new assistant coach on Todd Buchanan's University of Houston Cougars' coaching staff.

Foster was previously an assistant coach at Dartmouth College for four three seasons. At Dartmouth, Foster was involved in scouting, recruiting, scheduling and team operations.

Fosted coached at Texas State for two seasons before joining the Dartmouth coaching staff. She played collegiately at St. Edward's University in Austin, TX, for four seasons.

Foster is expected to begin her new role with UH on Friday, July 1.

Foster replaces Tari Cummings on Houston's coaching staff. Cummings decided to take an assistant coaching position at the University of Arkansas. Cummings joined Arkansas' staff on May 11.

Cummings worked as Houston's assistant coach / recruiting coordinator the past two seasons. Buchanan promoted second-year UH assistant coach Ravon Justice to the recruiting coordinator position.
