Houston Cougars Men's Basketball junior guard Quentin Grimes earned his fourth All-America Honor when he was named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Third Team Thursday morning.

Grimes has previously received All-America Third-Team honors from Sporting News, Associated Press and the United States Basketball Writers Association.

He is the first Cougar to earn All-America honors of any kind since Gee Gervin received Honorable Mention in 1999 and became the first Cougar to be named to the first three Teams since center Hakeem Olajuwon was a Consensus pick and Michael Young received Second-Team honors in 1984.

Grimes averaged 19.0 points, 4.3 rebounds and 2.3 steals over three games to help lead the Cougars to the American Athletic Conference Tournament championship, the first conference tournament title for Houston since 2010.
