Following today's Houston Comets' press conference which officially named Karleen Thompson the team's new head coach / general manager, I spoke with team owner Hilton Koch, Coach Thompson, and Comets center Michelle Snow.

Snow is in town rehabbing her left foot. She attended the press conference wearing a boot on the foot.

Before anyone wonders and spreads senseless rumors, Sheryl Swoopes and Tina Thompson didn't attend the press conference because they both had prior committments: NBA All - Star in Las Vegas.

Both players are very happy Karleen is the team's new head coach. Trust me.

During the press conference, Karleen mentioned she's working to complete her coaching staff which she hopes to finalize by next week.
