Werner Ladder, WBCA to Present Championship Game Ladders to National Champion Texas A&M Aggies

COLLEGE STATION, TX (Reed Arena) -- In partnership with the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA), Werner Ladder, the Official Ladder of the 2011 NCAA Basketball Championships, will present head coach Gary Blair and the Texas A&M University Aggies with a pair of ladders in honor of their 2011 NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball National Championship.

The presentation will take place Sunday, Nov. 20, prior to the 1:30 p.m. CST tipoff of the Aggies’ game against Mississippi State University in Reed Arena on the Texas A&M campus in College Station. WBCA CEO Beth Bass will take part in the presentation.

"Werner Ladder is proud to be able to celebrate the achievements of Coach Blair and the Texas A&M University women’s basketball team, who worked so hard all year, both on and off the court, in winning the 2011 championship" said Chris Filardi, Vice President of Marketing for Werner.

Coach Blair will autograph both ladders used to cut down the 2011 championship nets. One ladder will be auctioned off at Texas A&M’s annual auction held in May 2012. Proceeds will benefit Coach Blair Charities.
