So the Comets just announced this radio deal today ... with the 4th game of the season coming up ... and we are out of luck on a couple of weekday games as well, but better than nothing:

The schedule page still doesn't show the radio station, but I guess they'll get around to fixing that.

so I just checked the Comets website again (same link as in my previous post) and now there's NO radio station shown on the schedule, where as recently as yesterday it showed 610AM.

The disappointing thing is Sunday's game versus the Mystics was on 1070, too.

Yet, the Comets still have not sent a press release announcing the deal.

If you can't get 1070 AM on the radio in your area, you can listen live to the games through the 1070 AM website...just click on the listen live button in the left top corner. Here is the website...1070 AM

It's been reported on Rebkell that a local radio station is carrying Comets games now. The Comets site still claims 610 AM radio is carrying their games and we know that's not correct.

What's the point of having a radio deal if you don't tell anyone what it is? The Chronicle article today said nothing about radio for tonight's home game ... and no one I'm aware of was able to find the last road game on anything but the other team's broadcast.

Well, unless an announcement is made later tonight or early Sunday, it looks Sunday's game in D.C. versus the Mystics won't be on the radio.

Tsk. Tsk. Tsk.

The fact the Comets have yet to reach an agreement on a tv contract is bad; but, the fact the team has yet to reach a radio contract is even worse.

Tick. Tick. Tick.
